December is here, and we’re excited to celebrate this beautiful season with you! Our church has a full month of meaningful gatherings, festive activities, and community-centered events for all ages. From worship services and special youth programs to free community meals and Christmas celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Ecumenical Community Service

The Essex Ministerial is hosting a series of ecumenical Advent services, and we’re pleased to hold the first one at Essex CRC on Wednesday, Dec 3, at 12 PM.

Come join brothers and sisters from across our community for a meaningful time of reflection as we enter the Advent season — a time of hope, anticipation, and preparation.


A luncheon will follow, and everyone is warmly welcome. Come and celebrate with us!
Free Community Dinner
Life can feel heavy — socially, financially, emotionally — and sometimes we all need a place to breathe, connect, and be cared for.

Join us Friday, December 19, at 5:45 PM for a warm meal around a friendly table.

No cost, no pressure — just good food, people, and a reminder that you’re not alone.

Christmas Community Service

Join us for a joyful and heartwarming Christmas Community Service as our GEMS and Cadets help lead us in celebrating the season! On December 21 at 9:00 AM, our children will take part in the service through readings, music, and special presentations that remind us of the hope, peace, joy, and love Christ brings into the world.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and our wider community to gather, worship, and cheer on our young people as they share their gifts. After the service, enjoy coffee, tea, baked goodies and fellowship.

Christmas Service

Celebrate the joy of Christmas with us! Join us on December 25 at 10:00 AM for a beautiful Christmas Day service as we gather to worship, reflect, and rejoice in the birth of Jesus. This special morning will be filled with the hope that Christmas brings to our world.

Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or on your own, you’ll find a welcoming space to pause and celebrate the true meaning of the season.
